To alleviate any confusion and frustration that ensued last season in the wake of the moratorium placed on composite bats by Little League International, MLL will only need to certify composite bats for league use this season.

What does this mean for owners of metal/alloy bats? All bats featuring metal or alloy barrels that are 2¼" in diameter with a visible BPI rating of 1.15 will be allowed this season.

For a list of all composite bats currently approved for use by Little League International, please see the link below.  Note that only 2 ¼" diameter bats are allowed in MLL:

Please note: this list changes frequently as updates are made.  When going to buy a new bat, a suggestion for all parents/players interested in purchasing a composite bat is to print off the picture list and take it with you.
